Arts and crafts

My daughters and I made this yesterday. We had lots of fun buying the canvases, selecting our mantra, placing our letters, painting and then peeling our letters.

I treasure moments like those- working together to create beauty, even if that beauty is only so in our own eyes.

Meanwhile, I try to live by this mantra... I am a work in progress of course, but hanging it up over my desk is a great reminder. When those worries start pouring in and then spiraling, our crafty project can remind me to breathe and be just where I am!
